Does the Onedrive gets automatically installed on a windows 10 PC?

I had to manually install onedrive from strore. But I found it strange that it wasn't pre installed on a windows 10 PC given that is was a microsoft product? Is my computer unable to install apps on its own? Is there something wrong?

It came with one drive but do you have the files on demand option? It seems to only work if you are in the insider program.
