Searching in file explorer doesn't show an existing file

I have problem searching – first I searched C drive for sndvol, sndvol.exe wasn't found. Then I opened an explorer window to C:\windows and searched for it – sndvol.exe was found. Properties of the file has hidden unchecked; in both search menus 'all subfolders' is selected. I have attached pic of the two windows side-by-side. Anyone know how I can ensure that files that exist are reliably found? Thank you if you can help (I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64 bit).
