On-screen keyboard: Massive lag on W10 FCU

I'm wondering if it's just me. On my Surface Pro 4 on FCU, regardless if I use the Windows Update Intel Driver (.46xx) or the latest Intel driver (.48xx), the lag when using the touch on-screen keyboard is huge. It misses over 50% letters whereas previously on Creators Update it was pretty much realtime.

Anyone else experience this? It feels worse than early versions of Windows 10 Mobile TH1 keyboard, sheesh

Same sh*t is happening to me. I have Surface pro 3, but as I see it, Almost nobody uses Windows 2in1 devices as Tablets. So that's why even Microsoft doesn't give a sh*t.
