    Does anyone know if there'll be apps for Chrome and Firefox for Windows RT eventually? It'd be nice to have the browser of your choice.

    Yes, unless MS blocks them. They would not miss the chance to get all those user stats for their ad sales.

    I remember reading that MS was blocking access to key api's that are needed to build alternate browsers for rt, meaning any browser for windows rt would simply be a skinned ie, a la windows phone.

    Yes. Same as how it works on iOS with Safari.
