First, I should say that I finally figured out a way to do this. I was just wondering if there were better way. On my Windows 7 phone, Facebook events automatically add to the calendar. Maybe that's because you can add a Facebook account to the phone which persists through the different applications. That doesn't appear to be the way with the calendar app in W8. There's no option to add a FB account to it.
What I did was I grabbed the events link from (https://www.facebook.com/events/calendar). Then I went to the calendar section in Outlook.com and used that link to subscribe to a public calendar. This seems to be working so far, but there are far fewer features here than on my phone. For example, I can RSVP on my phone, but I can't find a way to do it on the calendar.
Anyone know of a better way to handle this? Maybe I'm not seeing something...
