Uploading or copying photos from a SD card

It's a little frustrating that when I'm accessing an SD card, either for uploading photos or copying photo on to the SD card it takes me to the desktop mode.

I really love the The new windows 8 interface. I would like to be able perform all or most all of my tasks from the new UI. When performing this function you have to keep toggling back between both screens.

Do,you experts foresee that eventually all tasks can be formed form the new W8 start screen?

That functionality belongs to the desktop. Someone will develop for MetroUI at some point.

Thanks. I'm all in for the new interface. I would like spend all my time there. I also think it is important for Microsoft, if they want w8 to be a success, to enable users to perform all functions within the metro UI space.
