Quick PIN question

Is there a way to require password on first start up of my laptop, then after it locks, then use a PIN?

No. After you choose to support a PIN type password you can unlock your computer with it no matter that you unlock it after reset or after a period of inactivity.

Yeah it looks like that. Damn, just wanted a little more protection.

If you fail to get the correct pin after 5 tries Windows 8 requires you to use your full password to unlock.
