I personally think Windows 8 looks great.

For me, this guy has written everything and more that I was thinking about Windows 8. The tiles that should be able to sit anywhere like in WP, 'Start' at the top for no good reason, the time being hidden with the charms bar and desktop apps not fitting with Metro apps (to be honest I feel that all program should have a second icon in the Metro style for when pinned in the Start screen so they fit stylistically).
The honest and brash style of writing was also quite entertaining
