Start Screen Max row count

This is really bothering me. I'm moving from an old laptop to a newer laptop, both running W8. The newer laptop only shows 4 rows of apps on the start screen, where-as the old laptop showed 5 rows.

Looking around for documentation and hacks the old laptop screen resolution was 1440x900, the newer laptop is 1600x900. Both should default to 5 rows. Granted the laptops used different GPU's (older was ATI, newer Intel). I've updated the drivers on the new laptop, done the "Layout_MaximumRowCount" reg change, no go.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I did one more search, and found the answer:

DPI - Change for Modern UI in Windows 8

It was just a matter of bumping up the monitor size till it worked.
