Bing Weather Live Tiles stopped working

like the titles said my bing weather apps tiles stopped working and I scoured Bing for answers but came up with only the same problem reports from last year.

got the same issue on my desktop pc running 8.1 , I resolved it by going to start screen , open charms menu->settings->tiles->clear personal info from tiles. try to open the app and it will show data

I noticed this also.
Neither of my phones Bing weather tiles are updating.
Seems like this happened a couple of months ago too.

That's weird, because my Bing Weather Tile updates all the time. I haven't noticed a problem so far.

because you have enabled Bing weather in background task , if it is disabled\blocked it wont update the live tile

Yes, I do have it enabled, and I open the app on a daily basis.

my mom love tiles , she hates opening apps on her previous phone , but after gifting her a Lumia 520 , she gets all the details at glance ; she daily discovers something new on her phone

Ended up uninstalling Bing weather then reinstalling on me 925 then the tile worked after pinning it.

Same here, 3 times in a month its stopped, only uninstall/reinstall works but it keeps doing it.

Check under background task if Bing weather is allowed to run in background. If it is stopped then disable it

Weather channel app did the same thing today WTH? I haven't changed any settings.

I have two 520s and the Bing Weather tile stopped updating on both. Now they are blank. Did a hard reset on one to no effect. Back to the Weather Channel even tho that never has updated except when you open it. At least it's not blank.

after waiting a day after clearing info, all my tiles resume working again while the weather tiles still won't work. I'm sad.
