Heavy Heating problem in Windows 8.1

my windows explorer literally blows up my laptop and heats it.

I wonder why your task manager is showing 4 windows explorer.exe.
is your machine updated to windows 8.1 update 1 and try to check for new windows updates along with latest driver updates from your machine manufacture website. What all apps do you have installed that are running in the background ? Try to set the power option to balanced/power saving mode. Is your machine infected with any malware/virus , if so do scan with a good antivirus/malware program.
