Currently in Windows 8 (.1) there is no metro apps equivalent of Windows File Explorer, except the sub-par performance you can found in OneDrive app. Yes, you can install 3rd party apps from the store, and you can use the File Explorer in familiar desktop flavor. But I think Microsoft should have give attention to its MOST important apps for Windows for Metro environment. This is my concept of the design of the UI. Please give it constructive comment :D Newbie designer here.

Anyone can help me with that?
I would love to work with their design team anyway. It's my dream come true :D

I like this design quite a lot. Looks neat and well presented. I still prefer the desktop file explorer on my laptop and desktop, but for touch screens, this looks like a good solution.

It's a really nice mix between the current OneDrive app and the File Explorer on the desktop - love it!!

Yes, it was never meant to replace the perfectly good desktop file explorer. It is for devices with touch-first input (a.k.a. tablets).
