Why am I unable to open the store on my Lenovo Flex 14 currently running on Windows 8.1?`

unable to open store in my lenovo flex 14 currently running on windows 8.1`

i was using my computer and opened the store, all of the sudden it showed that no connectivity. i tried to close and open it again but it just keep on showing the five dots rotating continuously.

Have you tried rebooting your PC? Have you tried rebooting your router?

My store is force closing, and all metro apps. I have tried various recommendations but it tells me I have suddenly some issues with my license. Haven't started the computer since I installed W10 and I'm wondering if me signing up for the dev program have destroyed my W8 copy or something. I have given up for the night.
