I've recently purchased an Asus T200TA Transformer Book with Windows 8.1. During setup I've connected the device to my Microsoft Account, which I now use to login. However, my Microsoft Account password is obviously very complex and long, and I don't need the password to access the PC to be that complicated. Is there any way I can change the local login password without also changing the Microsoft Account password?

Nevermind, I found out myself: it's not possible. I had to disconnect the account from my Microsoft account, thereby creating a local account with a custom password. Problem solved, I won't be using the Microsoft Account anymore.

There's an option to use a pin number instead of your Microsoft account password to login to your PC.
