Didn't realize how awesome Mango is, and Samsung v HTC

Long story short:
Boy has Samsung Focus
Boy lives in Silicon Valley where something 10 mins old sucks.
Boy wants new phone, gets Surround on eBay to play.
Boy's Surround is pre nodo
Boy plays with phone realizing how awesome Mango is, seriously, wow. Couldn't imagine not having it.
Boy realizes Samsung screen has richer color and better glass.
Boy then thinks he no longer wants Titan because the three Samsung WP's he's played with he likes better.

The moral of the story is phone-DD sucks, and gets expensive!

I would've gone with the focus but the surround is cool too. I wanted the titan but it's just way too big, at some point a phone becomes too big, why not have a tablet then... I now want the focus s but most of all the lumia 800 just that the 800 won't be around in the US for who knows how long.

I liked the idea of the surround. Too bad it didn't sell well.

Just couldn't get warm and fuzzy with the over saturated look of the Focus screen and that light, plasticy feel. Probably cause I started out a couple decades ago carrying one of those Motorola's with an extended battery (had to have one). Think it weighed about two pounds. The Surround has served me well. And HTC makes a solid phone.

Now that I've got the surround Mangod I feel more at home. It has a good screen, but it reminds me of the iPhone 3gs, good screen but colors don't pop.
