Phone Rebooting (HTC RADAR)

Hello People,

I bought a HTC Radar phone last monday. At the first set up it asked me to update OS version throu Zune software. I did and performed smoothly.

Since the update, the device is rebooting a few times per day. I did a software reset but still rebooting and the only application I've downloaded was WhatsApp.

Does anybody know what could be happening?

OS version: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware version: 1600.5500.10902.401

The reboot is happening when the cell phone is over the table. Not when I'm using or holding.

Today it has rebooted twice in less than 10 minutes.

mine rebots as well , but only because of specific apps , so i know its not the phone..

if it rebots on its own... return ASAP.

I haven't got the update yet for my Radar. I even checked for it and... nothing.

Anyways, mine had a bad speaker and I return it. This new one is flawless. I love it.

Did you try reinstall Mango? That should help... If that doesn't work return it ASAP.

The Radar's base build is mango. You can't rollback to pre-mango unless you root the phone or do some trickery.

In that case, the phone still has its warranty and it should be returned without a problem.

My Radar reboots too

My Radar started rebooting a few weeks back and has done so atleast 5 times to my knowledge now. A friend of mine that purchased the HTC Titan another place expirenced the reboot issue only last morning.

Interesting to see this, a friend of mine has a focus and has had no issues until he installed whatsapp. Then he said its rebooted on him for no reason. Could be whatsapp has issues?

My LG optimus reboots, mostly when t is recharging and I wake it up. I don't have whatsapp installed.
