can't delete podcast

I have downloaded a podcast, and now I can't delete it.

I followed the Microsoft instructions (select music + video, select podcast, and delete it), but the podcast does not appear on any of these these pages.

I followed the alternate method, which is to connect the phone to the PC and connect to Zune, and delete the podcast from Zune on the PC. However, the podcast does not appear on Zune.

How can I delete this podcast?

Just long press it and select delete.

I had this happen before. I had to turn my phone off and then it was gone when I turned it back on. Before turning it off, it kept appearing on my lock screen even though I had deleted it.

When I press the icon (whether on the lock page, the marketplace history page, or the music + video page), for even a long time, the delete option does not appear.

Turning the phone off and on makes no difference. The podcast is always there, on the lock screen, and whenever I press the volume button.

I have tried turning the phone on and off, and I have tried removing and replacing the battery, and that didn't help.

I had to long press it first and then I turned it off and turned it back on. That worked for me. Sorry it is not working for you.
