Searching & flagging mails from Hotmail

Hi,

Has anything ever been said about Hotmail enabling the functionality to flag mails or to search mails on the server, from WP7?

Both of these features work on gmail, and the server search was enabled by Google themselves without any WP7 update, so I'm sure this is within Microsoft's power to do.

On the whole I prefer Hotmail, but not having server search is a real plus point for gmail when MS should really be able to make WP7/Hotmail the best experience.

If it makes any difference I'm still stuck on build 7740, vanishing keyboard and all, because T-Mobile UK are useless and I can't be bothered to flash my phone and have to resetup everything, potentially losing tethering in the process.

You can set up your hotmail account as an outlook account instead, and flagging works.
Server search works too, as does setting your out of office auto reply.

Now, why doesn't it work like this when configured as a Hotmail? Maybe WP8...
