WP7.5 Outlook no notification if folders are sync

hi! Hope someone can figure this out. Our company recently subscribed to Office 365/Exchange on-line and everything is well. I have recommended Windows 7.5/Nokia lumia to replace our BB phones for email since the Outlook app in WP7.5 does a good job. It was not until I configured folders to my Outlook (PC) and setup rules so that emails from such recipients go to a specified folder. I checked my WP7.5 Outlook and it does sync including the folders but I noticed that Outlook no longer displays a notice (count of email) once the email goes to a particular folder unless I hit the ... button and display folders.

This is quite annoying because there is no way to tell if someone has emailed you that goes directly to the folder.

Is there a workaround?

I have the same issue with my WP8 device. All my emails are categorized into folders. Only emails that go to the Inbox get a notification but not the ones that go into folders.
It's so annoying and causes me a big problems @ work!!!
