If I jump to WP8 from WP7, how do I backup and transfer my SMS/Texts?

There's currently no way to back up SMS on WP7.

You're not the only one. There currently is no way. The unlikely hope is for 7.8 to get a cloud backup feature to your account. However, they will probably be stuck on the phone.

That's rough. I'll just have to hold onto this phone (alongside any new ones I may get) for as long as it takes to find a way to get those texts off it.
