so cinemagraph, where is it?

news have been floating around that with 7.8 we will get cinemagraph along with lenses features. i never really thought we will get lenses because of camera api restrictions and i can live with itI. but i expected a cinemagraph app with the 7.8 update.
anyone has any news regarding this? will we ever get it?

Well, Nokia has said officially that we would get it, several times actually.
They integrate applications such as the Camera Extras into the camera UI, so there's not really much difference with the WP8 lenses, therefore Nokia considers them as such; I expect them to do so with Cinemagraph and Smart Shoot. Other third party lenses will not be available though.

I already installed 7.8, as I assume you did, and Cinemagraph is not available yet, but remember that 7.8 hasn't been officially rolled out so, there's that.

Nokia has a great track record in keeping their promises to existing users, so there's not much reason to doubt that Cinemagraph and Smart Shoot will be made available, possibly as an update to Camera Extras.
