    I don't believe it impacts windows phone users, they're just transitioning people using the official messenger client over to Skype.

    On the desk top it sucks. integrating it to your contacts is horrible MS shouldn't rush into doing things unless they come out right. but as it is now I rather use WLM than Skype.
