New Google mail account setup not working after 7.8

After updating to 7.8 then doing a reset, I have just tried to add my Gmail account via email+accounts. However, my details aren't synching and I'm getting an Attention required text below my Google account, as well as the text "Google error. Not updated. We're having a problem with the server or your connection. Try again later...Error code: 85010016"

Is anyone else experiencing this?? I know my details are fine as I've done it before, and my iPad Gmail synch is also working fine.

Panic over - it's started working again.

I have the same problem. gmail worked fine but now I keep getting a message saying attention required. When I enter my PW it syncs but then the same attention required message reappears. I've tried unlock captcha many times but nothing works. This is really annoying and means I can't access my mail on my phone any more.
