How do I force the Store to update my apps?

With windows phone 8.1 one can easily check apps for updates (yes, now you don't have to wait for windows store tile to show you which app require an update ).
1.Head into windows phone store.
2.tap on 3 dots->and then tap on settings.
3.scroll down and you will see two options in App updates section.
update apps automatically ->turn this on if you want your apps to be updated automatically.
only get updated over Wi-Fi -> turn this on if you want your apps to be updated only on Wi-Fi.

to force store check for updates tap on check for updates. You will get a warning that store is checking apps for updates. If you want to see which apps were updated/ what apps are being updated at moment , go back to store and tap on three dots. Tap on downloads. This section will show you your current update/download progress. Swipe right to see which apps were updated/installed in past.
