I did a search and didn't find anything. How is one supposed to add an apostrophe when using possessive nouns? Seems pretty silly to me that an oversight like that could occur, so I am hoping it is just me and I haven't found the right place to swipe through yet.

For me, most of the time, I'll just swipe to the s and it'll either put an ' or it'll be one of the choices. Or, you could just press ' after you type it and it'll show up right after the work, just like other punctuation... That or I have no idea what you're talking about.

Until now, I've been forced to 1) press the space key to unselect the word, 2) press the back key to move the cursor to the end of the word (and delete the 's' if it's there), and 3) add an apostrophe and an s.

It's not acceptable. The possessive form should show up on the optional word line. It works with some names, some nouns, but very few.
