Theme change on Windows 8.1 and WP8.1

A while ago I was on my Surface Pro 2 and I realized when I closed out apps the background when I would drag apps to the bottom of the screen was cyan. I though it was a glitch so before restarting my Surface I went into the setting to check for an update. While doing so the theme or color in the settings changed from gray which I had it set on to cyan. This scared me so I held the power button to shut down my Surface. After it restarted it was still the same so I went to preferences on the charm bar and changed it to gray. After doing that I picked up my Nokia Lumia Icon to check if I had any notifications and my theme was set to Steel. After realizing what happened and being confused I started messing with it. Anyways I realized that when you change your Theme on WP it can change it on your Windows 8 tablet too.

My Icon is running the Preview For Developers or WP8.1
My Surface Pro 2 is running Windows 8.1 update 1
They were both connected to the same network when this happened.

Can anyone else replicate this?

Check out settings->sync my settings

on your Icon. If you have "Theme" set to "On", you'll have your theme synced with your other Win 8 devices.

Yeah I thought it only changed the phones theme, I was surprised to see the changes on my surface as well.

Thank you I had forgotten all about that setting. I still like the theme's synced so I'll probably leave it. Just thought this was interesting.

I'm not sure what you're asking here as it's already available, you just have to be using Windows 8.1 and WP8.1!!!
