Intel powered windows phone coming soon

Guys I met a friend who works for Microsoft . I asked him many questions and was told that intel powered windows phone would be out soon. he told me lumia 930 mite not come to india. its sad coz when people ask me which phone to buy I want to suggest windows but nothing new is launched is 4inc or 4.5 inc that is mid range. lumia 1020 is still expensive ROUND 40K. the only highend is 920 which is 2 years old model now. windows will need more phones and soon micromax and lava will launch windows phone.

Idk but lumia 930 is set to release in India very soon (by June 2014 ). But my question is does windows phone 8.1 supports new hardware (Intel ? ). They didn't talked about this in build conference. I doubt if they will use intel chipsets as they are not highly popular in mobile OS. Snapdragon are lot better and battery efficient.

Joe showed micromax windows phone at build conference. It was budget oriented phone which has snapdragon 200 chipset , dual sim phone

They may have the hardware implementation for Intel in subsequent GDR for WP 8.1 just like GDR3 for WP 8

Maybe ppl like micromax lava and all will use intel powered chips for their phones
.....lets wait and see. But windows need new phones tat are cheap and high end
