When is Dev Prev going to get Denim

Denim is a firmware update so we won't be seeing it on DP :) If your phone is unlocked (or international) then your phone will prompt you as soon as the update is available. Just keep watching the WC news feed for any updates

Dev prev users gets denim just like the others, it might have a slight delay but there's no need to roll back and stuff. Plus pfd users don't have much to look forward to apart from the faster camera(unless ur using a 930/1520)..

So that extras+info bug is very interesting. While I have the checkbox enabled for "Preview for Developers" (PfD), extras+info will show Lumia Cyan as my "Software Release". If I uncheck the box in PfD, the extras+info shows Lumia Denim. Pretty interesting "bug" there.

If you have PFD. then you have Denim. what you didn't get was the carriers update, what they add to it I have no Idea.
check about info:
Black update is OS 8.00.10517.150
Cyan OS 8.10.14157.200
Denum OS 8.10.14219.341 , this is what's on my phone. I just don't have the carrier update. (Verizon) xxx.0047 which is Black firmware.

Not really denim is the firmware which optimises the software for specific hardware and enable additional hardware features like "Hey Cortana" for 930/1520.

Do you have any idea how long is that 'slight delay'? And I have to admit, I crave for the faster start up and faster ability to capture photos in Lumia Camera 5 :winktongue:

Seeing as the roll-out has already started for some phones and regions, it's only a matter of time now (Wait it was always a matter time :winktongue:)...

You should get it this month or in January unless sth dramatic happens...

Well, I hope it will be released before a fresh new year or it could be a New Year surprise 😉😁

I flashed my 930 from CV PL to CV DK and now am happily running Denim :)

Anyone with a 930/1520 can flash :) because most improvements will be coming to those phones, but I hope those users that are planning to flash actually know how to or at least do some research :p

None, there's not even a change for my 920. This firmware is pretty much for the 830, 930 and 1520.

The OS changes is the same changes that the PfD has, which is changes to the battery saver app, data toggle in the action center, and folders.
