Must have api's on WP8.1

There are a lot of api:s that are must haves for a new version of WP. Here are are a couple that I hope comes to 8.1

1. Change and delete appointments (for building a decent calendar app)
2. Intercept Phone call and SMS (must have for The Pebble)

Which api:s are high on your must-see list?

1. independent volume control (allow 3rd party apps to control volume for independent functions like the ability to silence notifications while playing music/game or disable notification sounds during a schedule)
   
2. Cortana (allow apps to publish a list of available controls for cortana in order to integrate 3rd party app functionality)
   Examples: Spotify start playlist classic rock, Here Drive goto (address)
   
3. Email interface api (allow 3rd party apps to utilize the built in mail database and functions within their app. This could allow developers to make a new mail client without coding for exchange support, taking up extra storage space)

Ability to read sms from other apps. So that, we can create an app to do something useful like record a voice if an sms "hello ready" is sent from other devices.

- Integration on default WP8 apps (chat applications into Messages app, social network into People etc.)
- JIT compiler (for emulators or high performance on custom byte code)
