My only issue is the voiding of the warranty... I did it on my 920, but I might not on my 1520.

In practice it won't void warranty, had a 1020 with GDR3 preview when the xenon/led flash was defective i sent it in and got it back after a week repaired.

Talked to a guy from Nokia who came and got a coffee from my work, and he said the "next update" (he didn't deny or confirm WP8.1) should improve focusing time, image processing and decrease shot-to-shot time on all phones and add a whole lot of new features. Quite excited really!!

Although I hope WP becomes more successful, somehow I like it, being one of the few with a WP. If everyone has one, it would be stupid.
I think 30% WP, 30% Adroid and 30% iOS would be great.

Exactly. I'm wondering how that is going to pan out, especially with Verizon.

Verizon has been pretty good with release day updates especially with the 928.

It's a countdown app that I have that allows you to save images of the countdown when you wish, so it's not a link.

Incorrect. Verizon will be releasing another Windows Phone and it will launch with Windows Phone 8.1. It will be the Samsung ATIV SE. Bing search it.
