Missing nice features after WP 8.1 update 1

Before the update most of the websites where showing addresses, dates, time, days, and phone numbers highlighted to add to calendar or to tap on any address and your navigation app will open showing the address as a destination...

after the update 1 only recognizes the phone numbers, compare the before and after:

Before the update 1 noticed some inconsistency with this and some times didn't work, I think Cortana was on memory all the time to detect addresses and dates not only on emails or messaging, but I cannot make it work on websites anymore...

How come the desktop browser Chrome shows the same in windows 8.1 ..See for yourself.....Come on man there is no wrong with IE..It renders the same as desktop browsers does....

It's not the rendering, all browsers on desktops will show the websites just like plain text, not even showing Phone numbers highlighted because you cannot call from a computer.

In Android, iPhone and WP you can call the numbers on websites just tapping on it, that's normal, but on WP8.1 without the Update 1 (WP8.1 GDR1) you have more options, you can tap on any address to navigate or tap on any hour/date/day to add to calendar... but I thing this is Cortana, not the browser...

try with some websites on WP without the 8.1GDR1 it works! it's a unique feature that nobody else can do and we are loosing this capability with the last update...

Try by yourself, there is no way to navigate to any location mentioned on the web, now you have to "copy" the address and "paste" on your navigation app, and before the update 1 you just tap on any address and your maps app opens with the option to navigate...

A real setback then... Is this intentional or an unpredictable loss? We need to directly ask them for this.

Wait, don't panic on this one. It's probably just a missing registration thing between IE, Cortana and Maps - possibly due to the new Maps software from MS. I think HERE Maps controlled the IE service before, but with the update, there might be conflict.

If you want to talk about DP, I recommend posting in DP sections. This is for "real" WP8.1. Update 1 is a developer preview currently. We have dedicated forums for DP as well as GDR1.
