Re: Update error 80072f8f after downgrading from WP10 to WP8.1

Guess you already Google or Binged this error code.
It is indeed a date and time mismatch.
Just to double check did you maybe by mistake use 2014 or mixed up month and day in the date
setting or 12 / 24 time setting.
Do you use the correct time zone?
Did you try to find updates with and without the auto setting for date and time.

Thanks for the reply.
Everything's okay i checked it.
This morning it somehow updated and installed denim automatically, no idea how that happened. Later i tried to install a speech language and it gave me the same error for few times and then when i gave up on this after few hours i tried again and it downloaded! -,- something might have got messed up while downgrading

Same here. Date/time are correct. I'm on the preview for developers 8.1 (8.10.14157.200) on my AT&T Lumia 1020. I just wanted to get the denim update.

I'm having the same issue on my 920.
I'm stuck on Cyan (OS version 8.10.14157.200) after first downgrading from the Win10 TP (build 10080) and then installing Preview for Developers so I could at least upgrade to Denim.

I checked my time + date and they were correct and I've done multiple soft-resets.
OP's original issue has been fixed unexplicitly, but I'm still having the problem and I'm not sure what other troubleshooting I should do to fix this. :/

That didn't work either.
Thanks for suggesting it though.

Exactly same issue. I own a AT&T lumia 920.
After I installed insider preview, restarted and finished the installation. My phone was stuck in cyan, same error when trying to update. All my region and time are set correct, now even I can not connect the store to update my apps......
And so far I did not get any solution working.
