VLC on WP8.1 Lumia 830 Green Pixelation!

Everytime I try to watch a video, after a while, it distorts significantly, and gets green and pixelated then goes back to normal. Sometimes the video will pause and just show the loading circles then resume. It also crashes regularly. Does anyone else on WP8.1 have these problems?

Check for a firmware update. I think I had that (screen pixilation) for a while periodically on my 830 until an update came down. WDRT will show if an update is available although using that to flash the phone would require a full backup/restore so be careful.

I would like to ask why are you still using WP8.1 on the L830 when you have W10M launched officially for your phone?

VLC already had 2 major updates for W10M alone. They said they are going to leave the WP8.1 version the way it is now. All the development is happening on W10/M TH2/RS1 now.
