Super vague but we can only hope.
We don't NEED the cores, but I like the idea of having power in my hands (as long as its derriere is sexy)

I'd be happy with a dual-core device if that's what the OS is optimized to use. If there is some benefit to be had by having more cores, I'll take 'em. I'm just hoping to see battery life that is on par with the iPhone (my previous iPhone 4 had no trouble making it through the day). I know that LTE will have a drastic effect on battery life though as my VZN Galaxy Nexus could barely make it through a full day when I was running it on 3G only, much less on LTE.

Fake, says quad core ATOM, which is an x86 CPU and unless WP8 is now running the full Windows 8 kernel this info is incorrect.

Depends. X86 tablets are meant to be coming, so the generic kernel can do it.

Not forgetting Intel do android phones, so it may be legit.

Windows Phone 8 and Windows RT *exclusively* run on ARM not x86. There is no room for speculation on this one. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble... it doesn't mean that there won't be a quad-core ARM device running WP8, of course.
