Wow. HTC and Nokia are currently in a War for the dominance of Wp. HTC and Nokia are clearly the opposite of each other with their phones. But what about us?. this actually means that HTC and Nokia will innovate more. HTC came up with very good looking Hardware alternative to the Lumia 920 especially the HTC Windows phone 8S and 8X. HTC also has the best ppi for a phone currently. they also have the lightest Wp8 device on the market and the only Wp to have that cool Giant Clock. Nokia came up with the Lumia 920. the flagship Wp8 device. It comes with Wireless charging, NFC, sensitive screen and of course Pureview and the4 best resolution. I really think this is a good year for Wp8. and it's good. if wp8 turns out a success. More OEMs will come to Wp8 and get tones more Wp8 released. I think MS and Nokia get the idea with their Pureview Windows phone. and HTC also with their Signature Windows phones :)

I want to see HTC push Nokia to release high-end phones on more carriers at lower prices. I want to see Nokia push HTC to bump up their specs and release more capabilities and form factors.

Good, maybe on the next wave of Windows Phones we won't see half baked attempts called flagships from neither of them.

I have a feeling your idea of a non-half-baked attempt at a flagship would consist of this...
1125899906842624 core processor, clocked at 1024THz per core
20 years battery life
9000 terapixel camera with OIS, pureview, and all that stuff
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 apps in the store.

etc etc

As for me, I'm happy. The 820, 920, and 8X all look very appealing to me.

They all are pretty nice phones. I think the 920 is Nokia's flagship WP8 device. And if you're a pictures person, you can't lose. I also like what HTC is doing with beats audio on WP8. So if you're a music/audio person, you're good too.

I think Winterfang was just trying to get a reaction out of folks or he was kidding...right? These phone aren't half baked. And if you think they are, then you my friend are half baked. lol. Cmon now!!!! The only thing that could possibly be half bakes it the actual OS that we have yet to see or hear details about. Now if that WP8 OS is half baked then we have issues. But I don't think that will happen.

We can all dream. All the tech and specs of the 920 crammed into a crossover design between the 920 and the 8x, only in the size and weight somewhere between the 8s and 8x ;)

Call it WP8z by Nokia ;)

that's why he's on ignore. I feel his posts are strictly for getting attention

I am pretty sure Winterfang is a girl. The avatar stands out to me, and (not that it matters) her posts have not been as positive towards WP since the announcement of 7.8 for current devices...I could be wrong though.

Not a knock on Winterfang at all. Glad you are here.

How do you "ignore" uses? I got about 10 that I'd like to ignore.

On topic: I think Winter just dislikes Nokia. Like me. Even though I use a 900.

I'm not going to quote everyone because that will be annoying.

By Half-bake I mean that it doesn't represent the best the company has out.

The 8X doesn't have a 4.7 screen like the One X, The 920 doesn't have a 41mm sensor like the 808.

The ATIV on the other hand is equally as good as the Galaxy 3, it represents samsungs best.

I'm not a girl, my avatar at one time was lady gaga but I was too lazy to start from scratch, so it's not a random blonde. Not that my gender should change anything.

I like the HTC phone, but the Nokia Music is a huge draw for me. It's essentially the paid version of Spotify without the monthly fee, right?

Xbox Music is supposed to be free and ad supported also. Even better since it's made for the OS ;)

Spotify premium is more = to zune pass. It's pretty awesome, but it's not free. And to be able to use spotify on your phone, you have to have a premium account.
Wait wait wait, I though spotify and pandora was the thing.
You can't even log into the WP7 spotify app without a premium account.
