If i have an xbox live game on the windows phone (currently 7 but hoping to get a lumia 920 soon), and I also have windows 8 pro desktop, will the saved games sync between them so i don't have to start all over again? Does this apply to windows phone 7 and win8 desktop as well?

    I have the same question.

I'm on a Titan and am hoping to switch to a lumia 920 and don't want to loose all those hours I have in Final Fantasy.

Xbox live yes. Others, I don't think so.

I haven't seen a game that syncs, no. Generally there's also no way to transfer game save states even between phones, only way they get preserved is a backup/restore situation.

I don't think so. I downloaded Wordament on Windows 8, and it actually was treated like a completely different game. I even got two new achievements that I already had from the phone version of the game. It shows up as two separate games in my Xbox Live account also.

I even started a thread here, since I was confused.

Many games do sync. Age of Empires: Castle Siege, and pretty much any other online based game
