Out of curiosity, if someone wants to put make their podcast available on the native music store in windows phone 8, how does one go about getting that done?

As far as I know, you can still submit your podcast URL via the Zune Client Software.

Excellent, I was aware of that feature in Zune. Thank you very much.

Microsoft, Apple, Google and TuneIn all maintain podcast subscription files. You submit your RSS link to all four, and you've covered all the major devices and OSes.

EDIT: Keep in mind that WP podcasts are now submitted to the Windows Phone Store, not Zune.net as it used to be.

Do you by chance have a link of where to submit for the windows phone store? I've tried searching and have come up empty.

Good question. Apparently you have to email your RSS feed to an address. I will see if I can dig up the info...
