So I had to replace my bricked 920 the other day (before I read the un-brick post, unfortunately), and loved how it re-installed all my apps. However, as I went through them and still had to enter my Live or Google IDs over and over again, I pondered why Microsoft have not offered developers a true SSO experience, or at least the option. Once I sign into my Live ID on my phone I would love to have the option to let, upon my approval, any apps that use Live IDs to automatically leverage the sign-on from the phone.
Yes, yes, I know the issues and concerns about SSO, I work in security, but my point is wouldn't it be nice to at least have the option? Skydrive for example; why should I have to log into that again? What happens when I decide, for security reasons, to refresh my Live ID password? I have to go through every app and login again :-(
Thoughts? Any idea as to whether this was a consious decission on MSFT's part?
