Why besides Skype? It's one of the most widely used video chat platforms. Practically THE standard.

I always used Tango on iPhone and Android, but it doesn't seem to be available anymore in the Windows Phone Store.

If that's your determining factor, then it would be good to know what she is willing to use, and why.

What about Skype does she dislike? What about her current method does she like?

What functionality does she need that she doesn't get from Skype?

    Does seem a little... unusual.

Girl:"Hi babe. I really want to talk to you. I miss you sooo much."

    Guy:"Sure. Let's Skype."

Girl:"Eww. Skype? I don't miss you THAT much. Skype is all... blue and white and stuff."

I'm having a similar problem, I cant video chat with anyone from my Skype contacts. I merged my Skype and Facebook and I can video call anyone no problem on my laptop, but not on my phone (Lumia 920). Best way to describe it is that my computer can use their Facebook info to find their Skype name but my phone wont. Dose anyone know what I could do besides contacting every single person for their Skype name

    What DOES she like?

If she's upset about you not having Facetime and won't download a simple app because you don't have an iDevice, I'd reconsider dating her lol.

What device are you rocking? The video chat feature is only for phones with front facing cameras.

    Edit: Old thread, batman...

Really? Just give us what he ask, an option to video chat instead of Skype!
