Favorite Photos as a refreshing live tile

Hi all,

New to WP8, and my first post here, so apologies if this has been discussed before.

At the moment, I have my photos as a refreshing live tile, by which I mean the photos keep changing. I wanted to do this with my favorites album, and while I can easily pin it to the start screen, the photos do not refresh. Am I doing something wrong?

The photos hub live tilt should be using your favorites as the pictures it cycles through. Just pin photos from your app list. Then add your favorite photos to favorites it should be automatic.

does favorites serve any other role than controlling which ones show up on the tile?

It seems kind of odd that pinning an album wouldn't rotate through them.
