Shared Live.com calendar does not appear

Hello,
I setup a live.com account for my Lumia 820/Windows Phone 8. The calendar entries appear as expected.
Then I setup a second live.com account and shared the calendar with the lumia 820 account.

The calendar entries appear online on live.com but do not appear on the Lumia 820 calendar. When I open the calendar and switch to settings, I cannot see the shared calendar either. What do I do wrong?

It might take a while for the shared calendar to sync. Try adding a dummy appointment to the main calendar, and see if the shared calendar thereafter shows up under calendar settings. You should see a toggle control for each calendar.
