    Impressive!

    It says that possibly 7 million devices were sold. A comment at the bottom also notes that Facebook data doesn't include China where a lot of devices were sold too.

    Yes 1.3 billion people, accounting for 19% of the world.

    Oh and windows phone seems to be quite popular in India too which is the second most populous in the world with 17% of the world. The low end offerings of windows phone will definitely feel more attractive to the average buyer there being smoother, from Microsoft (great brand there) and the apps advantage of android would be irrelevant for a lot of buyers there.

    Sadly Nokia forgot their largest market.... Windows phones are not released in China yet.... China mobile, by far the largest mobile operator, announced they would carry Lumia 920 on Dec 9
