Anybody downloaded the new Facebook app yet?

It's been updated to V 4.0 and is a LOT faster and smoother. They also appear to have fixed the problems that earlier versions had with tile notifications not updating correctly.

You can get it by searching for the app and tapping "update" on the app screen in the store.

4.1xxx? How can you tell the version number?

Im liking the fact Facebook now starts at the last thing you read, so you can read forwards not backwards.

Setting>About. will give you the version number. I'm on version 4.1.0.0 to be exact.

I'm getting notifications -- and I don't have to close the app to reset the count anymore. For the first time! Yayyyyy!

notifications were working pretty well before the update. FB app is so much better on WP8, in comparison to WP7
