SMS - Messaging app thread not updating

I can send and receive SMS messages but they are no longer appearing in the messaging thread. I know I am receiving them because the toast appears.

Anyone seen this before?

Maybe a reboot would help, or turning on and off the flight mode, to let the phone reconnect with the mobile service?

Had the same problem a few times, and I noticed it is either because your Microsoft account aren't syncing properly or your date and time is wrong.

Something is wrong. My "what's New" in the people hub isn't functioning properly, not is my messages thread. Something is going on that reboot does not fix. When I select some threads or a what's new post it just goes back to the start screen.

Never mind. It seems to have been a result of not having updated the phone. After I did the update everything got better.
