I'm having a bit of a problem setting up cloud calendars post google's announcement that they are ditching sync. Initially I was simply going to move to 'Live' calendars, but there have been a few problems with this:
1) Live calendars do not sync with iCal. This would be fine if there is an alternative mac calendar app that is similar, works with notification centre and has a nice interface, but I am not currently aware of one.
2) When importing the google calendar, recurring events are broken - they show up in the LIve Web interface, but they do not show up on my phone or iPad.
3) The live web interface is rubbish compared to the Google web interface.
So, with that said, is there any way to continue using multiple google calendars with Windows Phone 8? Failing that, is there a way to fix the recurring events on import and either replace iCal or make Live work with it?
