I was just curious if MS had implemented this yet. In WP7 I needed to muck around with my region settings to get phone numbers to show up as clickable links as this feature apparently wasn't implemented for Canadians.
Mucking around with the region settings is just good SOP if you're Canadian. Just changing "browser & search language" to "English (United States)" gives us access to a slew of hidden features, such as local scout.
As does changing region format to US. This allowed clickable addresses in my calendar.
You just need to then set units to metric in things like Drive+
Holy, being canadian sucks.
More precisely, being a Canadian windows phone user sucks. ios is perfectly fine with letting us click phone numbers, click addresses, download podcasts, etc.Holy, being canadian sucks.
Yes. In Settings.Anyways to change the search button results to KM?
To be clear, I am CanadianPardon? I can't hear you over the sound of my free health care.
Can you elaborate a bit?Yes. In Settings.
Hmm...my settings are identical to yours and my units are metric. To be clear, I am Canadian
Can you elaborate a bit?
In settings, I have lang+region set to:
phone lang: English(US)
Country: Canada
Regional format: Canada (english)
Browser & Search lang: English (US)
But I don't see where I can specify units of measure for the search app settings
Hmm...my settings are identical to yours and my units are metric.
