    I've had the 8x since launch and like many of you have been eagerly awaiting the Portico (version 8.0.10211.204) update on Verizon. HTC told me last week they had released it to Verizon, so it was no longer up to them. One of my coworkers received a new ATIV Odyssey for testing on our corporate network today, and when I had a chance to look at it I realized it has Portico installed. Does anyone know if new/replacement 8x's and 822's are shipping from Verizon with the update installed from the factory? Would love to hear from anyone who purchased either recently

    They will not contain newer updates unless Verizon releases update to all. Verizon's history on releasing update is not good. You probably should expect zero chance to get any update.

    C'mon foxbat. I bought a Trophy in spring of '12 and received 7.5 very shortly after it was released. Vzw reputation on WP isn't as terrible as everyone like to make it out to me. I'm optimistic.

    Just ask those who bought Verizon Galaxy Nexus phones :) Keep your expectations down.

    FYI, WP 7.5 was release in middle of 2011, not Spring of 2012.
    C'mon foxbat. I bought a Trophy in spring of '12 and received 7.5 very shortly after it was released. Vzw reputation on WP isn't as terrible as everyone like to make it out to me. I'm optimistic.

    FYI, WP 7.5 was release in middle of 2011, not Spring of 2012.

    I manage a similar group, they don't get any information on updates. Engineering will process the update and deploy it, and then tech support will be informed.

    So that's what I found new/missing/still unknown w/re to my update today. Some items are unverifiable. Your mileage may vary...in particular the Browser selective history delete and auto pic d/l *seems* like it should have come along with the update, but I sure can't find the items.

    Anybody have those Browser items, or the restrict call numbers or WiFi(?) auto re-try?
