Arrow keys somewhere in the keyboard. That would make it easier to move and position the curser a few spaces.
Oh, and how could I forget...THE ABILITY TO CHARGE MY PHONE WHILE IT IS OFF!!! The all caps were intentional.
(Sidenote: Am I doing something wrong? Why can't I charge my phone while it is off? This is the first phone that does not have this BASIC feature!)
My Lumia 820 charges whilst turned off. It just displays a huge as battery icon charging.
Mine doesn't. Does anyone else have a phone that doesn't charge when it's off?
My Lumia 620 has the same problem. When I plug in the charger to my phone, it turns on automatically...
Though the list of what I want is long I'd like to highlight some major changes I want in the next major update:
- Enable fast resume in the SDK by default. Developers should NOT have the option to include it, they should not need to do anything extra to enable it. When the app is compiled fast resume should automatically be enabled. It's a very useful feature that is constantly being ignored by many devs for no reason what so ever.
- Enable lock screen notification support by default. Again this isn't something that should need extra work on the part of the developer.
- The next major update is when a line needs to be drawn about apps that do not fully support Windows Phone 8. I think Microsoft now needs to make this mandatory that all apps submitted to the store need to be made for WP8 from the ground up. These apps that are both for WP7 and WP8 are severely dampening the experience on devices like L920. Likewise any app that doesn't support 720p resolution should not pass certification.
- Fix multitasking
I was just informed that this is a feature of WP 8. I hope they disable this annoying "feature". I would rather charge it while it's off.
And then, when it has a little more juice, the phone turns itself back on and continues charging from there. It's just what Windows Phone does (both WP7 and WP8)My Lumia 820 charges whilst turned off. It just displays a huge as battery icon charging.
