I am having issues with my Lumia 920.
After the failure of the earpiece on my handset i received a new handset from my network.
When i set up the new phone i did't have a data signal so skipped entering my MS account details at set up and did this later when i got home. This meant i started from scratch, not from a back up.
Since then i have been unable to either use the find my phone function - still shows last location on the day i had the handset swapped, a month ago - and i can no longer install apps remotely from the windowsphone.com website.
I have tried a factory reset and restored from my most recent back up - which probably re-instated the broken account link.
Is there any way to resolve this without factory reseting and going back to the back up from before switching handsets?
Any help appreciated.

p.s factory reset takes an extraordinary length of time on the 920!
