I was just curious about this the other day, wanted to know what everyone's done so far!

I'll start. So far, I've converted my aunt (900), my mother (822), my father (822), my sister (HTC Trophy), and myself (822) ;)

Have converted a lot of people to buy the WP's.
My gf got a 620, my neighbor got 800, office mates getting 720,520,820.
Manager having a 900,he converted other managers to get WP too, having 820, 900 and 920.

in all. 10 and more counting

People were laughing when i bought the 800, but i guess we pre gen WP users ( 7.5-7.8) have made the WP8 so more promising and trustworthy.

I converted every Nokia fan in my class.
Considering the fact that should give ~3% market share of WP among all phones in my school, and that half of them are not even smartphones, that's enough for now :)

Three people converted. One returned to iPhone after about a month. The other two after about 8-9 months. But hey... That's the beauty of having more than one way to skin a cat.

Replaced my wifes old Nokia 5530 (nice design, but FAIL when it comes to software) with a Lumia 800, she was skeptic at first to another Nokia phone, but she loves it. Then I recommended a Lumia 900 to my dad and he loves it, the tiles are big, the touch experience is great.

I'm still rocking the Omnia 7, which still kicks ***, never any lag, which is great considering it came out in 2010. Going to upgrade to a Lumia 920 or a HTC One, we'll see what happens.

Nokia and Windows Phone are not much popular in Iran. But almost all of my friends liked my Lumia 620.

Currently, one of my friends has got Lumia 620, and two of my friends are much interested in WP, and maybe buy a Windows Phone during the next year.

But, this is nothing compared to the other guys replying to this thread :)

I'm still in the process of converting back from Android (S3), originally had a Focus and LOVED it...but it got smashed and WP8 wasn't available at the time.

Everyone i showed my Windows Phone 7 to thought it was cool...but the unfortunate reality is it's just not a familiar UI (i guess people seem to like the icons on iPhone/Android).

Hopefully when i get my WP8 ill help convert some users

Three. My wife early last year from Sony to Lumia 710. Her friend saw it, liked it and got the same. Someone in the office got a 920 from Galaxy. All have been happy, although guy with Lumia had a few issues as he had an earlier handset.

So far, my mom, brother, and sister got windows phones after bought mine. Its not as many as others, but I'm sure more will follow now that we have nearly all the essential apps (Instagraph, picasa, etc.)

Zero.

Unless MSFT would like to pay me a salary I take no responsibility to convert anyone to anything. G doesn't work for free.
